Ferric Chloride Anhydrous Uses

It is useful as a catalyst in organic synthesis, oxidant, and mordant in the dye industry, it can also be used as a polymerization inhibitor, Polycondensation agent, and to chlorinate copper ores and silver for free radical polymerization.

It is also useful as a printing plate and photographic etchant and in manufacturing ink, pigments other iron salts, and raw pharmaceutical materials. It can also act as a polycondensation agent. Using this solution in a concrete building increases the strength of the building and prevents water seepage and corrosion resistance. In addition to this, it is used in the treatment of drinking water and wastewater.
