Ferric Chloride Crystals

These crystals are typically small, transparent, or translucent solid structures with a crystalline or granular texture. They are pale yellow to brownish red. These crystals are highly soluble in water. When dissolved, they form a reddish-brown solution due to the formation of hydrated Iron chloride. These crystals are hygroscopic. They absorb moisture from the surroundings, forming a solution.

Ferric Chloride Crystals have an acidic and slightly metallic odor. They are stable in normal conditions, but when exposed to high temperatures, they decompose, releasing chlorine gas and forming iron oxides.
