Poly ferric chloride
Poly Ferric Chloride or PFC is a complicated iron compound with a formula of [Fe2 (OH)n (CLn)3. It has a solid network polymer like chemical structure which consists of a complex multinuclear ion. It easily hydrolyzes in water and produces the highly potent multinuclear hydroxy complex positive ion. PFC helps in neutralizing and linking suspended particles in the water treatment process.
